The historic Hendrickson House sleeps 5 and is a modernized, beautifully decorated, fully-furnished vacation home in the heart of historic Bayfield. The house has hardwood and slate floors, a fireplace, a whirlpool bath, a king bed, a twin bed, a queen sofa sleeper, a fully equipped kitchen, cable & WiFi, a deck and a front porch. There are lake views from the porch, deck and many of the rooms.

The attached Carriage House sleeps 4 and is a smaller version of the Hendrickson House with all the amenities of home, including a queen bed, a queen futon, a fully equipped kitchen and heated floors. The back door leads out to a small lawn area.

Situated right downtown at Rittenhouse Avenue and North Broad Street, these rentals are just a few blocks from the Madeline Island ferry line, cruise services and kayak tours to the Apostle Islands. You are just steps from shops, museums, restaurants, walking trails and more. For early-risers, there are coffee shops and a bakery where you'll find decadent, freshly baked buns to entice you in the morning.

There are coded entrance locks, so you don’t have to go to an office and pick up or drop off a key! Rent Hendrickson House or Carriage House separately, or you can rent both of these Lake Superior gems if you like, so that there's room for the entire family, and friends too!

It was our first time in the Apostle Islands and this house helped make our stay perfect! It had everything we needed and was steps away from shops, bars, restaurants, and the water! We sat out on the back porch many times to relax and enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. We were also lucky enough to meet the owners who made sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. Lovely place to stay!

This is our second time staying in Bayfield at the Hendrickson House on Broad Street... my husband & I just could not be more pleased with the rental!! ❤️the keyless entry along with the cleanliness! We r already planning for next July!!!

We stayed in the Carriage House. It was very clean and had everything we needed and more! It was just the right size for two. I love to cook so the beautiful kitchen was a nice surprise. It’s located right in downtown Bayfield. We truly enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in Hendrickson House, and how beautiful it was! The view from the bedroom (upstairs) was a stunning lake view! We had the use of a whirlpool tub, and a full kitchen.
